The
Past
Robert has been racing for just five years - half that of most of his
contemporaries - and in that short
space of time he quickly established himself as a champion on both the
European and domestic stage.
In his last two seasons in karts, Robert demonstrated incredible control,
mental toughness and a phenomenal desire to win. In 2008 he won the prestigious
Winter Cup, the British Open and Super 1 Championships, became European
Vice-Champion and beat world class opposition to lift the Bridgestone
Cup.
In 2009, he added the British KF1 title to his list of honours, in his
debut year in the sport’s premier category. Not only that, Robert
drove from the back of the grid to win the final round of the European
Super KF championship in breathtaking style.
